The season 7 premiere of Game Of Thrones is only a few short days away; Winter is coming. In honor of the new season and to remind myself what has happened so far in medieval war show that has dragons, giants, and armies of dead people, I re-watched all 6 season of Game Of Thrones. Here are my thoughts: (warning: *SPOILERS*)

Season 1

Do I really want to sit through all 6 seasons again? Yes, yes I do.

I can't imagine living in Winterfell. It looks SO COLD!

Ah! White Walker!

THE STARKS ARE ALL TOGETHER. SO HAPPY. SO ALIVE. SO YOUNG.

Watching Rickon run to Jon with a bunch of arrows hurts so much after Season 6.

"Winter is coming." A line that will be said countless times throughout the next 6 seasons.

SO many people in this picture are dead.....

I'm sad because Catelyn Stark will never know the truth about Ned truly being faithful to her.

She will never know about Jon's true parents. I'M SAD.

OMG baby direwolves. They are all either dead or absent. Why did they give us something so precious just to take it away again?? (They did the same with the Stark family tbh.)

OK, they do a pretty good job of laying out the relationships in this first episode, but I have to admit the first time I watched it I didn't fully get the show and what was happening. It took me a good few episodes to figure it all out. And even longer to learn all their names.

I remember hating Jaime Lannister so much at first. Oh have things changed.

I still hate Cersei, though.

Bran stop climbing the buildings. THIS WILL GET YOU IN TROUBLE!!!

This series is just one big "if only" after another.

Ew Joffrey. His face is so punchable. Although, I almost missed him after having to deal with Ramsay for so long.

HODOR! I'm not okay.

It IS funny how the only Starks that King Robert touches are now dead.

Jon was SO MAD about being a bastard back then. Such a contrast to how he didn't even flinch at Ramsay’s repeated “bastard” jabs in Season 6. He really took Tyrion’s advice to heart: “Wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you.”

The Starks should never have left Winterfell.

"I hope you’re not thinking of doing anything stupid.” – Everyone to Jon Snow, always, right before he does something stupid.

I hate Viserys. Such a whiney little troll.

Myrcella and Tommen! I miss them! RIP

I must have been the only person who didn't hate the Hound when he was first introduced. I thought he was a pretty cool dude! (Even though he did kill Arya's friend which wasn't really cool. RIP Mycah)

RIP Lady (Direwolves alive: 5/6)

I hope Nymeria reunites with Arya in Season 7.

Poor Daenerys. She looks SO miserable.

Tyrion slapping Joffrey is still one of the best scenes in the entire series. I could watch it forever. It's just as satisfying as Jon beating the crap out of Ramsay.

Robb and Jon are saying goodbye. There are too many goodbyes in the first season. It hurts so much knowing so many of the Starks will never see each other again.

Poor Sansa. She is in such a horrible position.

Poor Ned. RIP

Season 2

The first shot of the season is the Hound killing someone. Ah, back at home in Westeros.

Luwin! Summer! Shaggydog! Rickon! Hodor! Osha! So many now-dead characters. I miss them!

The Stark family's reaction to Ned dying is so sad.

Ugh Craster. He's the worst.

Where is Gendry these days? Still rowing?

But I feel so bad for Theon. IT’S YOUR FAULT HE WAS SENT TO LIVE WITH THE STARKS, BALON, STOP BLAMING HIM FOR YOUR FAILINGS. I mean, I hate what Theon does after this, but I understand why he does it.

BRIENNE, MY QUEEN!

I miss Margaery.

You know who else I miss? Khal Drogo.

Renly would have been a really good king.

Ugggggggh Roose Bolton uggggggggggh.

And Arya’s kill list begins. “Joffrey. Cersei. Ilyn Payne. The Hound.” Oh, it’s so short at this stage.

Ahhh, the shadow baby! I remember the first time I saw this I was like WTF?!?!????!?! I'm still like WTF?!?!????!?!

Poor Jorah Mormont. He's so in love with Daenerys but she's not having it.

Rodrick: “I’m off to see your father.” Bran: *sobbing* Me: *sobbing even more*

"You know nothing Jon Snow." Iconic.

At this stage Cersei kind of hates Joffrey as much she loves him.

And so begins the start of Brienne and Jaime’s epic road trip. One of my favourite plotlines.

No Robb. Don’t kiss Talisa. THIS WILL END BADLY!

This season has the least distressing Episode 9 out of all the Episode 9s. No one we truly love dies. It’s quite tame, comparatively speaking.

LOL remember when this was a big, shocking wild fire explosion. Cersei really managed to one-up her little brother.

I love Tyrion in full leadership mode. I’m still mad at the way he’s treated after he basically saves King’s Landing.

Podrick is basically the Neville Longbottom of Game Of Thrones.

OK how did Sam seriously get out of this situation alive? The White Walker looked RIGHT AT HIM.

Season 3

This is such a painful season.

I really hate Stannis. I never liked him.

It's so sad to see Sansa so happy, thinking she's going to marry Loras and live happily ever after at Highgarden. Poor Sansa. She's so naïve. I hope she gets a happy ending at the end of all this. Some kind of peace, at least.

Lady Olenna, MY QUEEN. “The cheese will be served when I want it served. And I want it served now.” Goals.

Eeeek I can't watch these Theon torture scenes.

Arya was so close to getting away and then the Hound showed up. Boy, if you weren’t on her list already, you would be now.

Theon was so close to freedom, but so far. Meanwhile, Ramsay murders four of his own men for kicks and giggles.

That shot of Jaime's hand being chopped off is shocking every single time.

This scene where Daenerys goes all “dracarys” on the masters is one of my faves in the whole show.

“You wouldn’t be my family. You’d be m’lady.” I really hope Arya and Gendry reunite.

Oh precious Shireen. Sweet summer child. I am crying already.

This is such an awkward situation for Tyrion. I’m cringing.

I have a love/hate relationship with Shae. I love how protective she is of Sansa, but I hate how she gets so angry at Tyrion for having to marry Sansa. It's kind of ridiculous. It’s not like he wants to do it.

Aaaand the Hound and Arya’s excellent adventure begin.

“The Lannisters send their regards.” TRIGGERED.

Jaime riding back to save Brienne at Harrenhal is one of his best moments.

Meanwhile, Brienne, my queen, is actually fighting a bear with a wooden sword like a boss.

Tyrion was so kind to Sansa. One of the few men in her life who was.

Arya came so close to seeing Robb and Catelyn again. Jon came so close to seeing Bran and Rickon again. UGH THIS SHOW.

Osha, Rickon and Shaggydog are leaving the plot for the next two seasons only to come back in Season 6 and die.

Oh no. I’m not ready for the wedding.

This scene where Robb and Talisa discuss naming their baby Ned has officially done me in.

THE RAINS OF CASTAMERE. Catelyn knows something is up.

I can’t. I can’t do this. I can’t watch this. And yet here I am, watching it, with a look of horror frozen on my face.

RIP Robb, Talisa, and Catelyn.

RIP Greywind (direwolves alive: 4/6)

I love Tywin sending Joffrey off to take a nap.

I don’t love how cruel Tywin is to Tyrion.

“Don’t, Hodor.” Shut up, Bran. He can Hodor down the well if he wants to.

There goes Bran, heading north of the Wall, where he’ll be for the next three seasons.

And off Gendry rows, out of the plot for the rest of the series.

After everything he’s been through, Jaime's finally home. And all Cersei can do is stare at his stump.

Season 4

Sansa is too depressed for lemon cakes. My heart hurts.

Jaime’s got his golden hand!

Cersei is so mean to Jaime, after everything he did to get back to her. Jaime, just ditch her right now! You can do it!

Oh no. Ramsay is hunting. Can’t wait to see those hounds rip HIM apart.

“Killing a man at a wedding… horrid. What sort of monster would do such a thing?” I see you, Olenna, you shady queen.

Tyrion’s refusal to kneel before Joffrey makes him kneeling for Daenerys later all the more powerful.

Joffrey’s death is so hideous, yet so beautiful.

Yes Sansa! Be free! Except ugh, straight into Littlefinger’s slimy, manipulative clutches.

Uh-oh, here comes Olly.

I feel sad watching Tommen be crowned. Like “long may he reign,” yeesh.

Robyn Arryn is so awkward haha.

It's nice that Sansa finally reunited with someone from her family. Too bad her aunt is crazy.

Bran and Jon were SO CLOSE to being together again. Please, please, please let them reunite in Season 7.

Jaime is basically choosing Tyrion over Cersei here and it’s very important to me.

Littlefinger is so creepy.

Sansa building Winterfell out of snow makes me sad.

Uh-oh Jorah, you’re busted. Daenerys can’t even look at him. What a scene.

I love how Arya just laughs when she finds out her aunt is dead. What else can she do at this point?

“You could at least wear a helmet.” YES OBERYN. LISTEN TO TYRION.

If only Oberyn wasn't so conceited and didn't give that stupid speech before almost killing the Mountain. RIP

RIP Ygritte. Stupid Olly.

"Hold the gate." RIP Grenn.

Oh good. Bran and friends are at the old Weirwood tree where so many good things will happen. (SARCASM ALERT IN CASE THAT’S NOT OBVIOUS.)

RIP Jojen. That was such an intense and brutal death. Stabbed multiple times, throat sliced, and blown up. jeeez.

I hate watching Tyrion kill Shae. He really loved her and then she betrayed him. Watching Tyrion kill Tywin, on the other hand, is pretty great.

Season 5

I really don't care about Arya's storyline in Braavos.

Or the fact that Bran is completely absent this season.

It is kind of funny that a 13-year-old girl is just traveling around the world all by herself. You do you girl.

Tommen and Margaery's marriage makes me so uncomfortable. Like, isn't he 12?

Ramsay is a sociopath omg.

Why did 12-year-old Cersei think it was a good idea to romp around the dark and creepy forest?

Podrick and Brienne are such a cute duo.

Why are Varys' hands ALWAYS in his sleeves?

I really hate Melisandre. I always have.

SANSA GET AWAY FROM LITTLEFINGER. GET FAR AWAY FROM THAT CREEP.

I really really really really really HATE the High Sparrow.

"I killed my father, Tywin Lannister, with a bow to the heart." I feel like we should mention that Tywin was sitting on the toilet and literally at his most vulnerable when Tyrion killed him.

What is Arya's hairstyle this season? Arya, honey, you're not Princess Leia.

Brienne is trying to be cool but is actually peeing her pants when she FINALLY finds Sansa.

OMG Podrick just threw a rock at someone to defend himself.

I like how Daario just stabs that wall and some dude is chilling on the other side.

Oh boy. Sam's gonna nominate Jon Snow as Lord Commander. Jon's just sitting there like, "Dude, don't."

Jon's face while Sam is talking about him is how mine looks when people sing "Happy Birthday" to me.

Poor Theon/Reek.

Littlefinger brings Sansa to the top of a mountain to look at her future castle/pile of dirt and tell her she's marrying a sociopath. Harsh.

Aaaaand so begins the adventures of Tyrion and Ser Jorah!

I really can't look at the High Sparrow as anyone other than Governor Swann from Pirates of The Caribbean.

Tommen looks like he's going to cry in every scene he's in. I mean, I would too if I was 12 and running seven kingdoms.

Jaime's fake hand sure came in HANDY... ha. ha. ha.

Let's NOT follow Myranda into the dark hallway with barking feral dogs, Sansa.

Just when you think Sansa's life can't suck any more, it does.

Ayra's cult life is honestly so bizarre.

Whenever Cersei smirks I involuntarily clench my fists.

RIP Shireen :'(

I love how Daenerys just gets on her pet dragon and flies away from the fighting without her friends lol.

RIP Stannis. I'm not sad about your death.

Ramsay looks like a little kid on a playground with how he's acting around those dead bodies.

It would be IMPOSSIBLE to not turn around and punch the chick chanting "shame" behind me. Poor Cersei.

RIP Jon Snow....for now ;)

Season 6

Winter has finally come.

Melisandre's only redeeming quality is her bringing Jon back from the dead.

Spin-off title idea: Jon of the Dead.

That scene where Melisandre just went full on The Shining was really disturbing.

So Bran has just been chilling inside a tree with an old man for the past 2 seasons?

Aw, young Hodor.

Everyone to Bran: "Bran no!"

Bran to everyone: "Bran yes!"

Man, Ellaria Sand gets on my nerves. Poor Myrcella. RIP.

Can we just talk about the fact that Arya got stabbed several times IN THE STOMACH, JUMPED OVER A BRIDGE INTO THE WATER, WALKED THROUGH THE STREETS OF BRAAVOS, AND LIVED? Hats off to you Arya Stark.

I like how Varys, Tyrion, Grey Worm, and Missandei have just been hanging out in Daenerys's palace running Meereen until she gets back.

I feel claustrophobic watching Jon getting trampled by his own men.

Ramsay's death was very satisfying.

Cersei is about to go full on Mad King to the people in the Red Keep.

RIP Loras, Margaery, Mace Tyrell, High Sparrow, and Lancel.

What an emotional rollercoaster. I'm so ready for Season 7.
