Campuses across the country are being terrorized by violent and emotionally damaging acts of dominance brought about by sadistic criminals who show little to no empathy for the social structures which usually protect us from these monsters. I am speaking, of course, about bicyclists. Whether it is a result of their breakneck speed, or the blatant superiority they display as the privileged owners of their esteemed mechanical machines they provide only unrest for those trapped to transportation via legs. Here are five thoughts that keep me awake at night when I am confronted by these two wheeled menaces to society.

5.) You can't fit through there...YOU CAN'T FIT THROUGH THERE, YOU'RE GOING TO HIT THOSE PEOPLE

...I can't believe they fit through there.

4.) That guy is just showing off

Seriously, he's balanced on two wheels at a standstill, and I'm not sure I can even ride a bike at this point. When's the last time I rode a bike?

3.) I wonder how much that bike costs in textbooks

Probably more than I would like to admit.

2.) That was too close

That guy broke my bubble so bad.

1.) I should buy a bike

I could get to class in like half the time, which means I can sleep for so much longer.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.
