Spoiler Alert: Do not proceed if you have not seen the movie.
So very early this morning, around 4 o'clock in the morning I decided it was a good idea to watch a movie. I had been wanting to the see the YouTube Red movie The Thinning for a while now after seeing the trailer about a million times every time I was on YouTube. I have YouTube Red, so I decided why not, I'm not tired and I don't have anything to do tomorrow.
There are so many things I can say about this movie I don't even know where to start. Off the bat, I have a few things to say about thoughts I've had while watching this movie:
1. "This is so sad!"
2. "Where are my tissues?"
3. "They're just little kids!"
4. "They don't want to die!"
5. "This is cruel!"
and finally...
6. "They're not f***ing dead?!?!?!?"
This movie definitely brought me on a roller coaster of emotions of sad, hopeful, devastated, hopeful again, shocked and ultimately astonished. In my opinion, the acting was great and the movie was made very well. Despite my gut wrenching feeling throughout the movie, that is was made it very good because it had to strong power to make me feel all the emotions I did.
