6. I would be so annoyed standing there in heels waiting for these guys. Could I have a chair?

Originally, I was going to group this in three or so episodes at a time. But I thought I would just do them episode by episode. Just like any other American woman in my age group I’m obsessed with “The Bachelor/Bachelorette” franchise. Even though we all know that people of color haven’t been well represented on the show. At least until the 21st season of “The Bachelor” and this season of “The Bachelorette” is even more diverse. The show has even gain a few new viewers mainly because the franchise as its first African American woman as the front runner. I personally like Rachel and I hope that she finds love at the end of this.

I watched the show and re watched the show and re watched the show. Only for research purposes only I swear. I observed the behavior of the guys and Rachel’s interaction with them. Which led me to these thoughts.

1. The hometown introductions couldn’t be more overly produced if they weren’t produced.

2. Talking about sex before you even really get to know her?

3. We meet all of Rachel's suitors some of them are top choosing. Others are not so much, take Wahbooom guy for one. I'm sure he's great but that gimmick is a little annoying.

4. If Rachel ever needs a dog sitter for Cooper, I’m available.

5. I like Peter’s socks.

6. I would be so annoyed standing there in heels waiting for these guys. Could I have a chair?

7. Bryan, talking in Spanish? Yes! Yes!

8. I don’t know how I would feel if someone told me what Dean told Rachel. Like OK! But also…OK.

9. Is Fred trying to rekindle an old childhood crush?

10. Fred must have had a thing for Rachel, I hardly remember anyone I went to school with.

11. What the hell is a tickle monster. And why is this a profession.

12. Adam's doll reminds me of B horror movie version of “Annabelle” or “The Boy”.

13. How do people leave their jobs to do this show? Is your job waiting for you when you come back?

14. If things don't work out with penguin guy she should introduce him to Alexis aka shark (dolphin) girl.

15. Jack Stone's smile kind of scares me.

16. This season is more diverse than Nick's season of “The Bachelor”.

17. The answer is always Backstreet Boys, Rachel. ALWAYS.

18. How in the world is she remembering these guys names?

19. There so many law people.

20. The AJ scenes had me dying. DYING.

21. Speaking of the Backstreet Boys, can they make an appearance this season?

22. That kiss that Bryan put on Rachel!!! Then again!!!

23. Sending Blake K home?! :( I’ll take him.

24. Alex is form the same city as me. If he doesn’t make it, hey hit me up!!

25. This party started at night and then when the guys are leaving its day light. How long are these parties? Is a nap built in?

My predictions for the final four are: Alex, Bryan, Josiah and Peter getting the final rose.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
