1. Where did all these assignments come from? They weren’t there last week I swear.

2. Why did I pick this major?

3. Who told me this class was going to be easy? Whoever it was lied!

4. Maybe I should take a nap.

5. Who am I kidding, I am to stressed to sleep.

6. How much caffeine can I have before I overdose?

7. What percentage of my grade is this test? If I bomb I might be able to pass….right?

8. Once this is all over I can relax. I just need to push through.

9. Why didn’t I buy groceries? There is nothing to eat here.

10. I can survive off of Ramen for the rest of the week. It’ll be fine.

11. Maybe if I beg my roommate they will grab me something to eat.

12. I don’t need to leave my room. The outside world is just a distraction.

13. I wonder what’s happening on Facebook. Maybe I should check Instagram while I’m at it.

14. Where did all my time go?

15. Why did I wait so long to start studying?

16. C’s get degrees!

17. If I study really hard for the next hour I can take a Netflix break.

18. When did my professor ever go over this? Are they trying to kill me?

19. Is there any extra credit?

20. I can pull two all-nighters in a row. Sleep is for the weak.

21. I’m okay. It’s okay. We’re okay. Everything is okay.

22. I’m going to drop. College is stupid!

23. I’m already to far in to quit.

24. Maybe I’ll just switch majors.

25. Is it over yet?

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe.
