We made it...well only to the second year of college. This means we have three more years left of undergrad, three more years left of deciding what the heck we want to do, and three more years left to make some pretty hard life choices.

1. "Okay, I am gonna work extra hard this semester to reach my goal..."

That is what a lot of us say and that is awesome that we want to get good grades & pass classes with flying colors. I've only heard that college only gets harder after freshmen year and we all have to be ready to face what comes our way. We are not babies anymore; but adults who are trying to find their way in the world.

2. "What the heck do I want to do with my life..."

Some of us already know what they want to be and that is wonderful! Others, do not have a freakin' clue on what to be & are completely stuck. I walked in last year knowing exactly what I wanted to be and what goals I had to reach in order to become that specific thing. A year later, and I have no idea what to do or who to be now. It is kind of like a mini identity crisis.

3. "Will I make any friends..."

This goes for anyone, but especially those people who are transferring colleges. I transferred back home and I am terrified about meeting new people and making friends that eventually will be my lifelong friends. It sucks because freshmen year, friends you thought you knew did not end up to being who you thought they were. Even your out of school friends, things change and life moves on. You got to pick yourself up and find some new friends.

4. "Should I take 18 credit hours..."

LOL....that is what I thought, what she thought, what he thought, what everyone thought. I mean, props to those who can take on the challenge, but I know I can not do that much. We think we are gonna go in there strong and ready to learn & take 6 classes, but we really can't. Do not give yourself more than you can handle.

5. "I am NOT ready for midterm and finals week..."

Yes, the dreaded two weeks that every college student hates. Even though it is like months away, we all think about it at least once in the summer. You are not ready for the endless hours of studying in the library, or the large amounts of caffeine you'll drink just to get by.

6. "Maybe I'll go to parties this year..."

This one is for those who did not really get to party their freshman year & want to try it out. It is a lot of fun just to go out and have a great time with your friends, but just be safe. If you are not really that type of person (ME), try at least once and see if it's the scene for you. I am not encouraging partying whatsoever, but it is nice to let loose with your friends once in a while.

7. "I hope I find myself..."

I did not mean to get all sappy and deep on you, but it is very true. I hope that everyone of us finds themselves Sophomore year and is happy with who they are and knows what exactly they want out of life.

8. "I am NOT taking classes with that professor..."

If you see a class you are about to register for and you know the professor & you absolutely hated her, do NOT put yourself through that stress for 15 weeks. IT IS NOT WORTH IT, TRUST ME.

9. "I am going to try to look more like a college student..."

C'mon, you know that your first year of college you tried dressing up for class and realized you looked completely ridiculous compared to the others that were in your class. Buy more sweatpants, hoodies, and even a couple pairs of flip flops; there you have it, a typical college student.

10. "I want my sophomore year to be better than last year..."

This is for those people who had a really sucky freshmen year & did not get to experience college the way they wanted to. Break out of your comfort zone more, meet new people, explore new places, and find happiness within yourself, others, and the school you are attending. It will all work out... :)

We all go through it whether we like to admit it or not, but we all have to remember that we can not stress over the things that have yet to happen yet. Let's all just focus on the now..

GOOD LUCK :)

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
