Time really flies when your in college; probably even faster than the four years spent in high school.

Nothing really beats the satisfaction of walking across that stage and finally getting a degree. But before you take that walk, there are some things to think about leading up to graduation day. There are so many deadlines and preparation that go into the last month before it comes to an end.

10. Who are you inviting to graduation?

11. Prepare yourself for the multiple breakdowns you might have.

12. Wow, my stress level is through the roof.

13. Cry about how many books you've bought this semester but never opened.

14. Senioritis in high school is nothing compared to the last semester of college.

16. There's a cumulative final????

17. I feel like I'm just going through the motions.

18. I just want a REAL job already.

19. Try to sell miscellaneous items on your school's Facebook page for extra cash.

20. Desperately searching for an entry level job that's not asking for 3+ years of experience.

21. Mentally checked out, physically still going to class.

22. Preparing yourself for the real world.

23. Loans...how am I going to pay off all this debt?

24. Being too excited to start your career in a few months.

25. Having the countdown on your phone/in your planner.

26. Did I mention job hunting?

27. I am grateful to have been given the chance to attend college.

28. Low key really going to miss college and all the opportunities it has given me.

29. I'll never forget all the people that have made lasting impressions for a lifetime.

30. Looking back and thinking it was all worth it.

In advance, I would like to congratulate all the upcoming students for the class of 2018! We made it!

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
