Thoughts From Someone Who Is Halfway Through College
Abigail Read

After finishing this spring semester, I am now a junior in college.

I am excited, but at the same time surprised. By the time you hit the halfway point in college, you have mastered the way of a college student. The thought of being only two years away from freedom is great!

Did it fly by like everyone said it would? No, it actually didn’t for me. It felt like each semester took forever, but only one of those where terrible (hopefully it will stay that way). I still question if it’s worth going through sometimes, but I think that’s natural for every student.

I have learned so much in these past two years and for that alone, I will never regret college. I have met a lot of people and made friends. If I were to give an incoming freshman advice, I would tell them it will work out-- even when it gets difficult, just keep going.
