Just this past Friday was Drake's Summer Sixteen Tour in Tacoma, Washington. Personally, the Tacoma Dome isn’t the greatest place for big concerts such as this one, but hey, what can you do?

Merchandise

Alright, let’s start off with the merchandise that was being sold at the show. The main t-shirts I saw people wearing and buying were these all black tees with orange lettering that said, "Revenge," on the front and "Summer Sixteen" on the back. There was another shirt that was all white and had the praying hands with a six above it, but I didn’t think either was worth the price tag of $45. To be honest, it was pretty underwhelming for someone who is dating Rihanna.

Openers

The concert was supposed to start at 6:30 p.m, but of course that was a lie. Concerts never start on time, so I don’t actually know why I was surprised when it didn't start right at 6:30. It wasn't until about 7:30 p.m. until the first act came on, which was Roy Woods. If you don’t know who that is, he sings a song called "Drama." You’ve probably heard of it — at least I hope so because it's a great song. Woods came out on stage in an all-white suit and you could tell he was feelin’ himself because he was dancing like crazy and was just having a great time on stage. His performance was alright though. According to a random drunk girl that was next to me, she said she would have rather had Jojo open because she has better songs that people can actually sing to. I somewhat agreed. Although Roy Woods’ songs were good; they were more mellow and chill. Usually people want to get pumped for a show with more upbeat bangers, but again, what can you do?

DVSN, who was the second act came on at about 8:15 p.m. DVSN’s songs were more on the mellow side as well. One song you might know of his is "Hallucinations." I’d say that he was better than Roy Woods because his songs were more upbeat and fun. He sang a cover of Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean and it was amazing. Those are the kind of sing-along songs that get the crowd going. After DVSN finished his set, it was all a waiting game from there. It wasn’t until 10 p.m. when Drake finally came on stage.

Main Act

The opening song of the tour was of course "Summer Sixteen." Fireworks came out of nowhere and Drake emerged from under the stage. It was LIT. The crowd was live and everyone was singing and dancing. Further into the concert, Drake stepped into a cage that took him up and over the crowd while he serenaded us all with "Hold On, We’re Going Home." In the center of the arena, colorful light up balloons were bobbing up and down above the crowd. It was mesmerizing. After Drake played a few songs, Future came out to take the stage, and can I just say he really did f**k up some commas in the Tacoma Dome. The crowd jammed out to "Low Life," "Jumpman" and "Where Ya At." More fireworks boomed and flames shot out from the stage, which sparked more excitement in the crowd. Drake came back out to finish off the show and even took a shot of tequila on stage.

Overall Thoughts

AMAZING. Despite the late start to the show, I had the time of my life. Drake and Future definitely knew how to get the crowd going. The fireworks, lights, and all the effects were really well done. I highly recommend getting tickets if they ever roll up to a city near you.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
