Calling people for donations has never been sooooo thrilling

So working at the call center for donations, one night I wrote down the thoughts that came into my head

1. Wait which script do I need?

2. How many times am I going to get an answering machines?

3. Woo! I got a pledge!

4. So many answering machines

5. Why am I calling athletes (as a non athlete)?

6. Hearing convos about christmas music in background

7. Does no one like to pick up their phones?

8. Now I get to call parents ugh!

9. Well if anyone answers?

10. Finally talked to an accounting grad

11. SO MANY ANSWERING MACHINES

12. Counting down the last 15 minutes to the end of shift

So here you have them, ones i wrote down on a post it note one shift.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
