Let's face it, Monday's suck. As students or working adults, there is nothing pleasant about Monday's. Gone are the days of rest and laziness and here are the days of blaring alarm clocks and all-nighters. A typical Monday for the majority of us begins with hitting the snooze button a couple times (three times at the least). As we contemplate hitting snooze for the fourth time or giving in to the Monday blues, here are some common thoughts:
1. I have class at 8a.m, I'll snooze for only five more minutes.
Waking up for class is half the battle.
2. It's been fifteen, class starts in five minutes.
It's 7:55 and you're still in your pajamas.
3. I have three minutes before class, enough time for breakfast right?
I totally have time to shove my face with eggs, toast, and pancakes.
4. Now that I'm here, why in the world did I think an 8 a.m. was okay?
Everyone told me it would be okay to take an 8a.m. Everyone was wrong.
5. Can't pay attention, *thinking about bed.*
This professor is speaking gibberish. I need my bed.
6. Of course the professor gives a quiz today.
Like attending class wasn't hard enough, now we have a quiz on the chapter I didn't read.
7. Made it to my 11 a.m., no progress has been made. *still want my bed*
You would think after a cup of coffee, I would be okay. Think again.
8. Can drinking too much coffee cause damage to a person?
I've drank 4 cups in three hours, but who's counting?
9. Gosh, I still have to make time to workout.
Not sure I'm going to make it out alive this Monday.
10. It's dinner time and I have no food.
Why don't I have a personal chef?
11. Hey, at least the Cowboys play tonight.
Ain't nothin like a Cowboys win.
12. *10 p.m.* Woah! I'm tired.
My eyes are literally fluttering.
13. Never have I been more excited to be in bed.
The fan is on, the lights are off, I am ready for bed.
14. Only four more days till the weekend!!!
Only four more days of repeating this treacherous cycle and then I get two days off!
