Finding time to hit the gym can be hard, especially when it isn't part of your day-to-day routine. Many girls in college will admit that they go to the gym a lot less than they would like to. Because of this, we don't necessarily have a "routine" workout when we do make it to the gym. Here are every girl's thoughts during their occasional gym trips.

1. OK, time to get in shape.

2. I haven't worked out in forever.

3. Ugh... This is going to suck.

4. I hope there are no cute guys here right now.

5. It's 6 P.M. on a weeknight, of course there will be.

6. Maybe I should go check the mirror first.

7. Wow, I really wish I didn't look in the mirror.

8. Damn, I really should have put on some makeup.

9. ....Or at least I could have done my hair better.

10. OK focus, you're here to work out! Remember?

11. Wow, I'm really glad I bought this arm band to hold my phone.

12. Makes me look like I come here often.

13. I totally know what I'm doing.

14. Just kidding, I have no idea.

15. OK SERIOUSLY, focus!

16. I'll start with the treadmill.

17. OK, is this girl training for a marathon, wtf?

18. I'm going to look so stupid next to her.

19. Oh well, this is the only open treadmill.

20. And I refuse to use the ellipticals.

21. My grandma uses those.

22. I have more endurance than that, right?

23. Here we go... time to crank this bad boy up!

24. I can run at 6 1/2 mph, right?

25. That's not that fast, I can do it.

26. I cannot do this.

27. Yes you can! You are a winner!

28. Just think about spring break...

29. CABO BODY!

30. Do it for Cabo!

31. It's only been three minutes?

32. What the hell?

33. I wonder if the people around me can hear how heavily I'm breathing?

34. Wow, it's so much louder when I take out my headphones.

35. That's embarrassing...

36. Maybe I should move onto a new apparatus.

37. I'm bored of this anyways...

38. And my legs already hurt...

39. Abs?

40. I'll do some abs, can't be too hard.

41. Crap, they are out of yoga mats over here.

42. Time to wander until I find one.

43. I probably look like an idiot right now.

44. Everyone looks like they know what they're doing.

45. Finally a damn yoga mat!

46. I wonder who used this thing before me...

47. Probably a sweaty old guy.

48. Blocking out that image as quickly as it came into my head!

49. How many crunches do I have to do to leave this place with a six-pack?

50. WOW, this burns...

51. I'll settle for a four-pack.

52. OK this sucks, just like I thought it would.

53. No wonder I don't come here often!

54. Thank God for having a fast metabolism.

55. I could not do this every day.

56. Major props to the people who do this on the reg.

57. I wish I had that kind of self control.

58. How long have I been here?

59. It feels like an hour or so...

60. OK, so actually only 30 minutes.... Nice.

61. A+ for effort though.

62. I could be watching Netflix right now...

63. But no, instead I'm here.

64. Go me!

65. I rocked it tonight.

66. I deserve a pizza right now.

67. Wow, pizza.... that's a real game changer.

68. What am I still doing here?

69. I wonder how many pounds I lost today..

70. I have to have lost at least two, right?

71. Maybe I'll come back tomorrow...

72. I'll definitely make it back here before next week.

73. Workout complete!

74. Which way to the closest pizza place?

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
