Winter Break is both a blessing and a curse. It is widely anticipated towards the end of the fall semester and expected to be this awesome time full of sleep, adventure, and much needed family time. But after a certain point, you realize that you have absolutely nothing to do. You've seen one too many family members, are annoyed with your parents, and just feel like you're sitting around waiting for something. This is a list of common thoughts that college students have once the holidays are over.
1. Can I go back now?
2. No wait I don’t want to start classes yet.
3. Actually I’m so bored that I’d rather be in class right now.
4. We took down our Christmas decorations yesterday and now I’m depressed.
5. I just finished my 2ndNetflix series since the break started. What am I doing with my life.
6. I miss my friends.
7. What classes am I even taking this semester?
8. Should I go ahead and order my books?
9. Nah.
11. Wait… did I return my rental books?!
12. Ok, yes.
13. Still haven’t checked my grades.
14. Don’t want to check my grades.
15. If I have to comment “CONGRATS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT OMG I KNEW IT!!!” one more time…
16. I was planning on working out every day over the break. Oops.
17. Who is this person texting me?
18. No no no please tell me one if my professors has NOT emailed me already.
19. This is the worst.
20. WHY AM I SO BORED.
21. I wonder what my friends from high school are doing.
22. Why are they all still out of town?
23. Ugh.
24. Why do I have to ask my parents for permission before I go anywhere. I'm an adult dangit!
25. Then again, I haven't done much so I can't complain.
26. My bed is so freaking comfortable.
27. I'm still recuperating after having to explain to every member of my family that I still don't know what I'm going to do with my Major or my life, for that matter.
