If you don't know about this little fight that happened on August 25th, you must be living under a rock. The boxing match that was dubbed "the biggest internet event in history" resulted in a win for Jake Paul, a majority draw for both KSI and Logan Paul, and a handful of wins on the undercard that kept the audience reeling in anticipation. The fight is still available as pay-per-view on the KSIvLoganPaul YouTube channel if you wish to see it fully, but for those who caught it live, you might've had similar thoughts to me.
1. Why is this guy flossing in the middle of the ring? How is anyone meant to take this fight seriously?
2. This Jay vs. Gib fight on the undercard is the most well-matched and entertaining one.
3. Jake Paul said he was going for a first round KO, and that... is not happening.
4. Deji might not have beat Jake Paul, but he made him look like a period pad and that makes him the internet's hero.
5. Did Jake Paul genuinely call out Chris Brown to fight next?
6. Why did the Paul brothers think that wearing actual muzzles would be a good fashion statement?
7. KSI promised that he would beat Logan Paul, and these first two rounds aren't supporting that statement.
8. I want to see a knockout.
9. [Six rounds later] Well, I guess that isn't happening.
10. A draw?! Seriously? I've waited six months to watch this fight, and now, I have to wait another six months to watch the rematch.
If it wasn't clear, I wanted both KSI and Deji to become the winners, but in Deji's case, that didn't happen. As for KSI, or JJ, the final results will only be determined at the rematch. Personally, I hope he knocks Logan Paul out, but we'll see.
