It's happened to all of us. It happened to me last night. It's final's week, kids and it is time to prepare yourself for some all unavoidable all nighters/early mornings/late nights. As you're sitting there, staring blankly at your computer, all college students will undeniably think these things.
1. What's the worst thing that can happen if I don't do this?
One F won't kill me...right?
2. How many hours of my life have been spent doing work past midnight?
Probably way too many.
3. Is this legal?
Are professor legally allowed to assign this much work?
4. How can I make this paper look longer?
We've all Googled it.
5. I'm hungry.
Because it's wrong to keep our stomachs awake when they're used to be sleeping.
6. I'm dropping out.
I don't neeeeed a degree, do I?
7. How do other people not have this much work?
Am I doing something wrong? Am I doing something right? Why is no one else drowning in work?
8. Nothing.
Literally staring at the screen, thinking nothing.
9. I wonder what my cats doing right now.
Probably just laying there, sleeping. Like I should be.
10. I wish someone was awake so I could talk to them.
God, it's boring when the rest of the world is asleep.
11. *Constantly calculating how many hours of sleep you can get if you finish by "x" time*
A whole 2 hours! Nice!
Stay sane and take care of yourself. It's finals time, my friends.
