Thanksgiving is coming! If you're like me and haven't had a break since school has started here are some thoughts you may or may not have leading up to then:

1. It's not allowed to snow before Thanksgiving 

2. I need sleep

3. I need to find a job before winter break

4. I need money

5. Why do I have 10 million projects due?

6. Why do I have 15 million tests all during the same week? 

7. I need to bring home all my summer clothes 

8. Why did I wait until Thanksgiving break to get all of my sweaters? 

9. It's too cold to go out tonight 

10. I need caffeine to get me through this lecture

11. No. I'm not ready for Christmas music

12. I'm ready to chow down on some good food 

13. I'm ready for the semester to be over but I'm not at the same time 

14. I NEED a break

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
