Lately there has been an excess of distress, pain, and doubt in the world, but this is not a time to lose hope and become discouraged. There are a lot of things on our minds other than the good. If you are in need of a little bit of encouragement, first look at these little things to get you through the day, but then look to family, friends, and the future to keep you encouraged. Making this list I found myself a little happier and with a little more motivation. It is important to see the little things that provide encouragement to others around you, but not to forget about yourself. Believe in yourself, and don’t get discouraged over the little things, because every one of us has the abilities to achieve any dream. Here is a little kick-start for all of you who need some more encouragement and happiness.

1. This puppy

2. The truth about humans as crayons

3. You can fly

4. The road ahead

5. Pineapple of Truth

6. Be Flawsome

7. Always in need of a tutu and a dance

8. Someday I will be motivated

9. The little duck that could

10. Dreams are never too big

11. Always love the Fluff

12. Tongue Twister Truth

13. Something good every day

14. Don't wait

15. I smile because of you

Hopefully these little bits of encouragement and happiness will help your day improve.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
