There were many artists who performed at the awards ceremony, such as Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani, Troye Sivan and one that particularly caught the eyes of millions was Kesha. After her battle with her producer, she came and sang at the awards show; many are calling it a “declaration of independence."
People voted, and their favorite performance was Britney Spears’ medley. Madonna’s performance was a special tribute to Prince. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani performed a song together, as well, making fans of Miranda Lambert not too happy either. There were many singers that were singing at this music award ceremony for the first time ever. For some, such as Troye Sivan, this was their first awards ceremony.
Overall, this year's awards was a very successful ceremony. So many big names and even bigger performances blew fans away. Now to wait until next year’s Billboard Music Awards!
