Summer Bucket List

Ahhh.. the beginning of summer. Its everyone's favorite time of year... toes in the sand, the smell of burgers on the grill, a refreshing drink in your hand-- it doesn't take much for summer to be great. A car ride with the windows down, late night fires with friends, and my personal favorite: floating in the ocean as waves crash around you.

While it's really the little moments of relaxation where you just exhale and feel content with life that really make summer great, there are a few things in particular that I think would really be the cherry on top of my ice cream cone this summer. With that said, here is my summer bucket list:

Buy a kiddie pool for my Dogs so they can be as happy and cool as this guy

I really think they'd enjoy it.

Spend an entire night outside stargazing

Just grab all the pillows and blankets in sight, bring my two fluffy goldendoodles with me for company, and any friends that feel like joining me. What could be more rejuvenating then a night under the stars?

Start a water balloon fight

Like, a massive water balloon fight. Lets be honest here, when was the last time you did that!?

Visit NYC and pretend to not be a tourist

I've been before, but always as a tourist. I want to grab a friend who knows where they are going, and pretend I belong for a day. After I live a day as a New Yorker, I'll return to Boston and still conclude that its the best city in the world, but NYC will have been fun.

Go Cliff Jumping

Okay, It doesn't have to be a huge cliff, a quarry or something. Really just a body of water to throw my body into from a big height. And, if I can find a huge slip and slide to speed up the process like that guy- even better!!

Go Pool Hopping

This is a summer favorite. Considering I don't have my own pool to swim in at 2 am, why not find some innocent, oblivious person's pool to borrow for a few minutes??

Bonfire on the beach

I have always thought this would be very fun, but it is also very illegal. Hopefully this summer I can find a place where this is legal and do it!

And finally,

Ride a Jet Ski

I remember riding them when I was little, but I am currently 20-years-old and have never manned a jet ski solo... I NEED TO DO THIS

Whatever you think will really top off your summer, do it!! Why the heck not!? Just go for it... smalls did:

It's finally flu season! It's around that time in the school year where everyone on campus is getting sick, especially if they live in the dorms. It's hard to take care of yourself while being sick at school, but here are some coping mechanisms to get you on the path to feeling better!

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

For the average 20-something, life moves pretty fast. You’ve got classes, friends, relationships, jobs, family, and whatever else we overcommit ourselves with. I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
