We're all in this together.

This Point In The Semester, As Told By 'High School Musical'

The days move slow but the years fly by in college. But if there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that there comes a point towards the end of semester when you have 12 papers, eight exams, and 14 other assignments and seem to be failing seven classes when you're only taking four. There's some things we can all relate to from college to college.

1. When you thought you could get away not studying as hard for an exam because you had a paper to write.

2. You've actually convinced yourself that your professors gathered together and had all your assignments due on the same day.

3. And there's always that one person in your group for a project that doesn't pull their weight and it's really the last thing you need.

4. When you haven't gone out in weeks and it's starting to take its toll.

5. But it's formal week so you're stressing to make a dent in all the work you have so you can blow off some steam.

6. But as the semester comes to a close, it marks the end of so many flings and could-be relationships.

7. As the weather gets warmer, waking up for class isn't as hard but actually going to them is quite the struggle.

So hang in there, kids, we can do this together. Finals will come and go and then freedom is upon us. And if you're graduating, I'm sorry to bring about the "end of the semester talk" yet again.

But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
