This Is Me

this is me. Love or hate me, it won’t effect me as I’m just a girl trying to express myself and come to acceptance and understanding.

Writing has always been a form for me to express how I feel and even get lost in those thoughts.

I don’t compare my experiences toward yours, because I believe everyone is faced with obstacles for their own story.


However, I find it incredibly moving and powerful with people coming together, writing from the heart and reaching others who can relate or looking for the words to carry on.


This is just the start of my story and unfinished chapters though the story isn’t over.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
