This Election Was A Joke

This is my opinion of this joke.

This Election Was A Joke

This article may offend some people, but I am voicing my opinion. I have the right to do so.

I am outraged by the election. I am outraged because we were faced with two candidates and had to choose the lesser of two evils. It is sad that my candidate was not given a choice. People did not want to hear what he had to say because he was not about drama. He wanted what was best for America.

I want to know why my great grandfather is weeping because of this election. Of his 76 years of life he has never been more disappointed. The American people choose a sexist, racist, bigoted jerk over someone who lied about emails. It is ridiculous. How many of you have lied before? How many of you have hid things from people? I suppose that a woman was too superior to America. Trump will target the minorities, and it is not going to go well.

I can just hope that Trump will not be as bad as I expect. I want to be proved wrong. Show me that you will not put America down the drain. Show me that minorities will not have to be scared to walk out their front door.

If we survived Nixon and Bush we can survive this. It is time to speak up and to stop suppressing each other. We will get through this. For God's sake, fight the system.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
