The biggest thing that I am thankful for after finishing my first year at school are the friends I've made. If you found your people, you know what I'm talking about. Here are thirty texts you probably have sent your roommate(s) while being home for the summer:

  1. “When do we move back into school?”
  2. “Are you free tomorrow?”
  3. “We need to FaceTime ASAP.”
  4. “Have you eaten ice cream every day this summer…”
  5. “Let’s go on a road trip. Actually, let’s go to Nashville, I’ve always wanted to go there.”
  6. “Hi. I did a thing.”
  7. “So don’t hate me but…”
  8. “Get your tickets for that concert I’m not going without you.”
  9. “Not having a roommate to say dumb stuff to at night is really starting to depress me.”
  10. “Promise me next year will be the absolute time of our lives.”
  11. “Go look at that video I tagged you in on Facebook.”
  12. “What is this video you tagged me in…”
  13. “Come hang out with me and my family.”
  14. “Hey lets get a pet next year?”
  15. “I’m about to send you a really long text so get ready.”
  16. “Girl, explain yourself.”
  17. “You guys make me so happy.”
  18. “Did you watch the Bachelorette last night??”
  19. “Remember that time at school…”
  20. “I want to make our room look better next year but money.”
  21. “I miss you.”
  22. *Sends screenshots of messages from the latest drama*
  23. “Why were we so awkward when we first met?”
  24. “I literally cannot wait for study abroad.”
  25. “I’m hungry.”
  26. “Dude, I haven’t been to the gym since we left school.”
  27. “What are you doing?”
  28. “I don’t know what’s coming next but thank God we’ll have each other.”
  29. “I love you so much.”
  30. “Thank you for being the best friend I’ve ever had.”

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
