13 Times The Belchers Were Relatable AF

I've never related to a cartoon family more.

If you watch "Bob's Burgers" then you're bound to know the ridiculous, disturbing, yet funny Belcher family. Each character has a quirky personality that can sometimes reflect even the sweetest of souls. Louise Belcher, the youngest of the family, is a complete savage. If there isn't drama, adventure, or manipulation, then you can count her out. She's an extremely evil nine-year-old, and sadly her sass is pretty relatable. Tina is a boy-crazed thirteen-year-old with literally no charm or coordination, whatsoever, she's basically the embarrassment of the family. Tina does happen to make pretty good jokes, but her dry sense of humor keeps characters on the show from enjoying them. Gene, the middle child, is literally the type of person who should stay behind close doors. He's basically the most unhygienic person. He farts in basically every episode eats anything from anywhere, but his passion for music is something we all can relate too. Here are 13 times that you're guaranteed to relate to the Belcher family.

1. When you need a good come-back line, but all you can think of is this:

2. As if we could all be this confident when it comes to interacting with our crush:

3. When you realize you're no hero after finishing something incredibly difficult, like homework, and sadly this is quite relatable:

4. When you feel like being a complete savage, and don't pity others poor social lives, yet this can be related both ways:

5. When you're complaining and someone says, "it could be worse":

6. Nothing will impede your love for tacos, and when I say "nothing" I really mean nothing:

7. Your reaction when someone does something absolutely ridiculous:

8. You rely on a good hair day to get you through anything social:

9. You're sarcastic 24/7, especially when it's uncalled for:

10. When you see a couple doing extreme amounts of PBA:

11. When you have to wait for basically anything:

12. When that one person doesn't stop talking about themselves:

13. This is most certainly top-priority on your Christmas list:

The Belcher family is one of a kind, and I sadly feel as if I could be one of them. They get into some pretty unrealistic situations, extending from inappropriate to dangerous. Even though the show is full of awkward characters, you're guaranteed to relate to one of them. Even though Bob's Burgers is a cartoon, it is for a mature audience and replays on FOX mostly late at night. Luckily, five seasons have already been released on Netflix. The show is still being produced, and thankfully, is on quite frequently. This show will make you laugh on even your worse day.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
