Why We Want to Third Wheel Ross & Rachel's Relationship on Friends

I'll admit it, I am a Friends fanatic. I have watched all 10 seasons start to finish about four times and quote the show on a regular basis.

Friends so realistically depicts how we get through what life throws at us with our own intuition and a little help with our friends. Finding a career you actually care about, realizing your parents make mistakes too, and falling in love (maybe even with your best friend) are the ups and downs of twenty-something-year-old life. We see Monica, Joey, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, and Phoebe go through it all.

Without a doubt, one of the best parts of watching Friends is following Ross and Rachel's relationship.

So I present to you through GIFs: why Ross and Rachel were a power couple and made us look to them for #relationshipgoals.

~~~
We knew right from the start that they were meant to be together.
Their backstory is so dorky and lovable. Young, nerdy, college-aged Ross found himself infatuated with his younger sister’s best friend: the beautiful, kind-hearted, slightly spoiled and clumsy Rachel.
Years later, Ross is divorced and Rachel finds her way back into his life. Cue one of the most adorable scenes.
It took awhile, but no great love stories are ever instant, right? It's all about the persistence.
Ross so wholeheartedly loved her.And she made him so happy.
The passion between them was so obvious. So many iconic kissing scenes.
But they were also best friends. They perfectly balanced being goofy and sweet.
Then there were plenty of awkward times where the timing was just off. Rachel with Paulo. Ross with Julie. The whole "we were on a break" fiasco that left both of them heartbroken. Ross with Emily... then saying accidentally Rachel's name at his wedding. Rachel encouraging Ross's girlfriend Bonnie to shave her head. Rachel and Joey.
The list of what got in the way of Rachel and Ross being together goes on and on. Which is normal for couples- there are complications. But at the end of the day, Ross would have dropped everything to help Rachel out (and did many times). And Rachel never really stopped loving Ross.
After everything they went through, they both knew deep down that they were made for each other.
So Rachel got off the plane.
They made great [weird] parents together.
And made us viewers very happy. Cue the jealousy.
So we probably won't ever get over Ross and Rachel.
As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.
1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.
Bonus points if it is more than two.
Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.
I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.
April Ludgate
Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
