First, there's Sylly week, then an introduction week, then the third week of the semester comes along with no warning and you're drowning in work trying to remember how one studies. Since you did nothing semi-productive over break, and your brain can't/won't attempt to study, you can only procrastinate.

Your only prior memory of academic work is finals week... and we all know how much procrastination took place that week. So, inevitably you revert back to old and useless behaviors and then convince yourself that "Eh, it's only the first test I have time."

There is no one better to present this third-week procrastination than the brilliant and hilarious cast of "The Office."

Looking at all the chapters you have to read and remember in less than 24-hours

Could've planned this one a little better. There's always next time!

When your friend asks you if you want to go out

Knowing full well you have no right to or time...or money.

After 2 hours binge-watching "Friends" reruns...

One more episode won't hurt? Not like I've seen the series 5 times through.

Going to the gym for the sole purpose of avoiding any work

And lasting 20 minutes cause you haven't been in three weeks...

Overthinking all your life decisions thus far just because you have time to do so

This has the potential to waste a good amount of time. Warning: may result in horribly embarrassing middle school flashbacks that still invoke intense emotions.

Congratulating your self for your solid effort in 20 minutes of studying

That oughta do it right?

Looking at your notes at 11 pm the night before your test like...

Debating to yourself if you should pull an all-nighter this early in the semester or just admit defeat and live by the college mantra of "If I don't know it now, then I never will."

Convincing yourself that sleep is way more important and that you'll "wake up early and study"

Cause 10 times out of 10 waking up at 5 a.m. to study just does not happen no matter how many alarms you set..or snooze. I wonder why.

Waking up 10 minutes before you have to leave for class

Surprise surprise. It's just as you suspected would happen. I'll study before class, during the 5 minutes I have?

Ultimately walking into your test admitting that it's just not gonna happen this week

Test 2 will be YOUR test. Maybe even thinking about studying two days in advance.

But then walking out of class and reminding yourself who you are!!!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
