Overthinking, we like to think to categorize this just to women, specifically in relationship scenarios. But in reality, we are all overthinkers, thinking on average 50,000 thoughts a day. We all don't think about the same things, but it never stops. Our brain is always working, but sometimes all we want is for it to stop; To stop the scenarios, ideas, confessions. We close our eyes to sleep, looking for an escape, but what you were stressing about prior that day, you dream about, the person you can't live without, surprise they're in your dream. So with all of these thoughts and all of this thinking what do we do with it? Some of it is fine just staying in our heads, but some thoughts, deserve action. That thing you thought about doing yesterday, yeah that one, are you going to do it?
With 50,000 thoughts a day, how many do we act upon? Sometimes these thoughts are not realistic, like if I could fly, but some ideas like the simple thought to get out of bed in the morning, that's something we can act upon.
We know the saying 'they're all talk', the person that talks about everything they want to do but have we seen it. To the contrary, we have the people who have a desire and before we can blink they are where they want to be, whom they want to be. The difference is that simple, that it's scary. You're either the best cheerleader for your life, sitting on the sidelines or you're the starting offensive line, running down the field like an unstoppable force.
It takes one thought to act, we do it every day, thousands of times without knowing it. It just takes acceleration. The people we idolize weren't afraid to go after what they wanted. That's why you're talking about them. So yes what I am saying is act on every thought you have, no. What I'm saying is if you are thinking of doing something indulge yourself from now and then. Yeah, it's gonna be scary and maybe daring but, if the worst thing that can happen is you failed, then I'd say that's a pretty good accomplishment. Just some food for thought.
