Very so often we worry too much about what about what people think or how they feel about us. We need to learn to recognize that we are who we are and everybody else just has to respect that. Here are few things you should never have to apologize for:

1. For Saying "NO"

And not having to explain yourself!

2. For Being Who You Are

Diversity is a beautiful thing. Once you learn to love what makes you different, and totally owning it, you have nothing to apologize for!

3. For Having An Opinion

Whether the majority of people agree with you or not, kudos to you for standing your grounds!

4. For Having High Standards

And don't let anyone make you believe that your standards are too high; if they want to get on your level, they'll have to climb!

5. For Your Body

Because in all it's flaws and all it's glory, it's yours and you love it!

6. For Standing Up For Yourself

7. For Killing it At School and/or Work

You never have to apologize for your success and never let anyone hold you back!

8. For Expressing Your Emotions

Because we're all human and we all have those moments.

9. For Cutting-off Negative People

If something isn't good for you, let it go! You owe no apologies for brightening up your life and moving forward!

10. For Asking For Help

Because if you're too full of pride to ask for help when you need it, your growth is stalled and so you should never have to apologize for not knowing everything!

11. For Your Confidence!

Because only you know how hard it has taken you to get this far in standing tall and believing in yourself. If someone decides to take your self-pride and confidence as aggression, let it be their problem!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
