Parents are quiet possibly some of best people you will ever have in your life. They support and love you and put up with a lot of stupid mistakes that you will make. Here's a thank you for all the things you never thanked your parents for enough.

1. College

College is expensive and I know personally I have them to thank that I get to go. They have supported me through every failure, every payment, all the successes, and encouraging you whenever you need it.

2. Going To Every Game

Remember all those little league games that your parents sat through, be very thankful. They have been a bit embarrassing or maybe get to into the game but they're your number one fan...maybe.

3. Phone Calls

There have been many times when you have just needed your mom, or dad, to tell you it's alright. They always answer the phone and deal with your emotions even when that's the only time you call them.

4. Putting Up With Your Attitude

You're lying if you claim you have never mouthed off with your parents. I certainly have and most times my parents will take the time to talk to me until they have had enough and you get the mom stare. The point is regardless of all the stupid things you have done and said that have hurt your parents, they are still there for you.

5. Playing Your Music on Car Rides

This may seem stupid, but trust me your music probably makes their ears bleed. They love you, so you can listen to your music even if they hate it...or they just do not want to hear you complain about their music for the entire car ride. Either way, be thankful.

6. Cooking Food

You will never appreciate the home-cooked meals your parents give you then the second you begin college. They take the time and effort to give you a nice meal, and they have listened to years of you complaining and begging for pizza instead.

7. Lectures

Lectures are something that when they are happening, you're upset and angry with your parents and do not want to hear it in the first place. However, after a few days, you appreciate the lecture because they took the time out of their day to make sure you understand that this is more than whatever happened and that they love you.

8. Driving

Driving you around for years probably was not all that fun. This can be proven by the fact that the second you had your license, you were probably sent out to do a lot of errands in place of your parents. They drove you to all the places you wanted and needed to go, so say thanks.

9. They Love You

Loving you is not an easy job, and even after all the things you have done and will do, your parents will be right behind the whole way ready to help pick you back up.

Parents do a lot for us and the things listed above do not even begin to cover all the things you should thank your parents for. Just remember to thank them for all the little things that they do for you. Thanks, Mom and Dad.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
