This past week, I made the spectacularly bad tactically necessary decision to pull not one but two all-nighters. I've been recovering ever since. However, I have gained some important knowledge (not from the work I was doing, of course... that would be silly) about how life works, minus a substantial amount of sleep.
1. The human body is an amazing machine...
2. ... But it won't hold out forever.
3. When you dress up, no one knows how dead you feel inside.
4. Friends are pretty great (happiness can be found even in the darkest of times...), and will support you.
5. But they will also get on your case (rightfully so) about abusing your body and mind.
6. No matter how hard you wish against it, the sun is still going to rise (and it will make everything look unreasonably beautiful).
7. At a certain point, you've done all that you can do.
