I struggle with these all of the time! Someone please tell me I'm not alone!

If you're like me and your hands get cold all of the time, you understand the struggle... Typing with gloves on is harder than it seems!

Going outside is NOT an option...

People who get cold without the help of blistering winter wind want nothing to do with the outdoors when it snows or the temperature is below 32 degrees.

As soon as fall or winter begins, the countdown for summer starts as well.

Olaf knows what's up...

"I'm cold," seems to be a frequent sentence starter...

Have you ever had moments when you can't focus on anything other than how cold you are? I know your pain. Whenever I announce that I'm cold, I wonder if it annoys other people. I must make that announcement nearly 60 times a day... Okay, maybe not THAT much, but you get what I mean.

A lot of your money goes to sweaters...

Sweaters, jackets, and fuzzy socks become as much of a necessity as food!

In most cases, other people around us aren't even that cold...

Which often makes me wonder whether I have anemia. I don't know about you guys.

We wish we had firebending skills...

That would be pretty useful wouldn't it?

Temperatures under 60 degrees are just unacceptable...

Just ask this guy!

We rely on hot drinks to keep our hands warm...

(my photo)

Whenever I drink tea or hot coffee, I drink it slowly. Not because the drink is too hot to drink, but because holding the cup keeps my hands warm.

We tend to mess with the thermostat...

And we may also be yelled at for turning the temperature up too often. Heat is a necessity though!

We wish to live somewhere that is hot all year...

Is the desert too extreme? ....Hmm.... NAAAHHH.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
