This day in age, there are many things that we wish would have just been invented already. I am sure you can name off a few things, but here is what I think is important and needs to be invented right now...

1. A Time Machine

Okay, some of the things on this list are actually somewhat plausible but I just had to add a time machine to this list. This is something all of us have probably thought about. Imagine the possibilities. Maybe you could use it to make sure you didn't say that one stupid thing. Or use it to reverse a mistake on a test. Or even for those of you that are really looking to use it to create change, could use it to go back and stop Hitler before he even started or use it stop the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. The possibilities are endless.

2. An insulated kettle

I'm sick and tired of every time I boil water, if I wait just a minute or two, my water is already cold and I have to reboil it again. I just want my tea! Is that too much to ask? Can someone please invent an electric kettle that keeps the water hot? Please, before I lose my mind.

3. A burglary alarm that turns off when I say "It's just me!"

So this technology that responds and does something when you say a certain thing already exists. We have it in Alexa, Siri, and many others. Can we simply just combine this with a burglary alarm so it just turns off and stops blaring when it's just me coming in? Sincerely, everyone.

4. A self-opening bag of chips

Because using your hands is overrated.

5. A microwave that both warms food and keeps it warm

So, we can warm up food, but we can't keep it warm. I think not.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? I mean I went through four years of tough classes and serious self-searching (and crying). What I found overall was Senioritis sneaking up on me.

College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
