6 Things We Wish We Had The Balls To Say

"You make a better door than a window."

You know those moments where you want to say something to someone but you're afraid to hurt their feelings? Maybe it won't hurt their feelings, but you know that as soon as you let it out of your mouth you will regret it because it just seems pure rude? Here are some of those moments that we just wish we had the balls to say what we are really thinking...

1. "Excuse me, you make a better door than a window."

You know that person wherever you go they always seem to stand right in front of you and you cannot seem to see anything that is in front of you? We all just want to know they realize how tall they are and that they are blocking the view. So, instead of telling you to move out of the way so that I can see, we just suck it up and try to look around you.

2. "Could you learn how to drive?"

There is always that person on the road that just seems to not know what they are doing. They might be going 25 mph on a 40 mph road and you're just like, "Could you please hurry up? Some of us have places to be." There is also that person that is just not paying attention to anything while they're driving. I hope they know exactly what we are all thinking.

3."Do you realize how stupid you look right now?"

I realize that some people don't care what others think of them and to be honest, I don't care if you care what I think about you. I am not going to stop thinking about how stupid you look just because you choose not to recognize it. There is always that person that is wearing the oddest choice of clothing or just people who say those oddest things in public. It's like, "Excuse me do you realize that there are people around?"

4. "He/She is really not that into you."

There is always that one person that talks about this one guy/girl that they think is totally into them. The constantly talk your ear off about how great they are and then a week later the guy/girl is horrible and there is a whirlwind of emotions they are going through because of this person. Nobody wants to hurt your feelings, but maybe it is time to face the facts, he/she is just not into you.

5. "Please cover that up."

This could be on social media or just in public. Sometimes I wonder if people even look in the mirror before they walk out the door. We all know that person who wears the weirdest outfit or maybe wears something that shows 90% of their bodies. It is okay to wear something like that at home, but could you please keep it there?

6. "Will you please get over yourself?"

So, there is the person who only talks about the great things that they do, or they talk about themselves constantly. When you try to tell a story about yourself, they always seem to find a way to turn it around to be about them. We don't want to interrupt you while you're talking about yourself, but to be honest, we don't care. It is not always about you. There are other people on this earth. Please, get over yourself.

There is no offense toward those who this applies to, but I really hope that if this is you who people want to say these things to, be grateful they don't. We have a conscience that holds us back from saying things that we shouldn't say, maybe out of the kindness of our hearts, but holding back is probably the best idea in this case or all cases for that matter. Just keep holding back. Hopefully they know what we are all thinking.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
