In my most recent article, I wrote about some of the many wonderful qualities of Milford, MI. I got so much positive feedback that it inspired me to create a part 2! So here are some more of the wonderful qualities about Milford, Michigan.

1. The town is extremely dog-friendly.

Dogs are welcome practically everywhere and most shops on Main Street put water out for any passing pups. Any events that Milford puts on also allow dogs, including street fairs, farmers market, concerts in the park, etc.

2. Concerts at the Amphitheater.

Over the summer, Milford Central Park hosts concerts every Thursday. All ages are welcome, including pets! The performers usually come from Milford's surrounding areas.

3. Central Park.

No matter the time of year, you can always find Central Park full of people. In the summer, the volleyball courts are always full and in the winter, the courts become ice skating rinks. The basketball courts always have a game going on as well.

4. Milford Cinema.

For those looking for a local night out, grab dinner at a nearby restaurant and head over to the Milford Cinema to see the latest movie. This local hot spot is a beloved Milford treasure.

5. A supporting community.

In the last few years, there have been lots of projects that needed community-wide support. To name a few, the Amphitheater and the Skate Park couldn't be possible without the help, support and donations from the Milford Community.

6. The Fire Department, Police Department, and other Township staff.

These staff and department members work hard to keep our wonderful town safe and fun for everyone. On top of their hard work, they are also incredibly friendly and involved with our town!

Once again, we have so many reasons to be proud to come from or live in such an amazing town. Home is where the heart is, and my heart is in Milford, MI

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement. Here are five things everyone should learn in order to be a better friend to themselves. These steps are hard, but they're so worth it.
