Spring break is here!!!! It's the best time of the year to do anything. Midterms are over and it's time to chill out. Spring break is the time for you to have fun. It's not suppose to be a time for you to stress. Do you have any ideas on things you want to do? I have ideas for things you may like to do. If you like them use them, if not don't worry there are many other things you can do.

Top 4 things to do over spring break:

1. Go to the beach.

Going to the beach during spring break is the best thing to do. It provides even more freedom than even before since you came to college. It's really a bonus if you think about it because you are living in a beautiful place for a week with your friends. What is greater than that??? Nothing I bet. But to be honest, this is one of the best things to do during spring break.

2. Spend Time with Siblings

Spending time with your family, especially your younger siblings, is a great time too. I really love hanging with my little brother because it provides time for me to catch up with him. I haven't seen my brother in a couple of weeks or more. I want to see how he is doing in person. Your sibling is basically like your best friend. Besides, most of the time hanging out with your sibling is way better anyway.

3. Go on day trips with the squad.

I really enjoy this one because it's a lot of fun. I really think that these day trips are better than actually going to the beach. I say that because you actually get to spend quality time in the car with your friends. Also, you get to go to different places with each day trip. While at the beach, you are only staying in one place for a whole week. So which one sounds like a better option?? For me, I would take the day trips any day to be honest.

4. Sleep as much as possible.

This will be one of my favorite things to do during spring break. Sleep is really like a drug when it comes to college students. To be honest, every college student loves this drug because we literally don't get that much of it. This is one of my plans over spring break, to get as much sleep as possible before I go back to school.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
