The morning after Thanksgiving, friends and family alike line up in the cold in order to benefit from Black Friday sales. I am not one of those people. I just do not understand why you would leave the comfort of your home to go stand in line. If you are like me and enjoy life, I have come up with some alternative things to do on Black Friday.
1. Sleep In Late/Stay In Bed: Be sure to tell your friends all about your comfortable bed as they complain about the lines at the mall. You warned them. You did your part.
2. Eat Leftovers: Create a beautiful breakfast feast, because last night was not enough for you. Plus it is so much better than mall food.
3. Christmas List: Start creating your list online. Remember, Black Friday shopping at home is much better than waiting for doors to open at 4 a.m. and getting trampled by crowds.
4. Homework: Finish any important homework due the week after Thanksgiving. That way you can relax and watch Netflix the last week of school... while everyone else is stuck in the library.
5. Holiday Cheer: Decorate with Christmas decorations and listen to holly jolly music.
6. More Food: Bake cookies and treats to bring back to school. Nutrition is extremely important for studying.
7. Wine Night/Day: Plan a cozy wine day with family in order to celebrate your lack of movement from the house. No traffic for you!
8. Stretching: By stretching you can enjoy the freedom of movement that you wouldn't normally have if you were stuck in the mall.
9. Cash: Count all the money that you have in your wallet - all of the money that you didn't spend shopping today. Don't tell anyone tho, you may be stuck buying drinks when you get back to school.
10. Shopping: Plan your Christmas shopping for Saturday afternoon - you can enjoy the sales while knowing that you didn't get hit in the face by someone's purse this year.
Do you hate Black Friday shopping & think these pictures are fabulous/super unrealistic? If you are like me and believe both of those things, share or comment!
