Taking Advantage Of Our Final Month

Some ideas of what to do in this last month of school to have no regrets about the year.

Sadly the school year is beginning to wind down, and somehow we only have one month left of being at Syracuse University. Yet again the year has flown by and it is now time to make sure you take advantage of every last minute. Here are some things to make sure you do so you have no regrets about the year and some spring activities to take advantage of spring in Syracuse.

1. Skip a class when the sun is out

2. Eat at your favorite place several more times

3. Do work in a new building

4. Try a new place on Marshall

5. Try out different philanthropy events happening around campus

6. Go to all the parties you can

7. Spend as much time with friends as possible

8. Try any restaurants you’ve wanted to get to all year

9. Finish all of your final assignments

10. Sit out on the quad when the sun comes out

11. Go out for ice cream

12. Visit Skaneateles

13. Go to Green Lakes State Park

If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
