Minnesota: the land of four seasons. We are all brutally aware of the harshness of a Minnesota winter and hopefully all aware of the beauty that a Minnesota summer can offer. The heat can be draining, but it can be a wonderful experience to explore the beauty that our state has to offer

1. Minnehaha Falls

    Tucked away and hidden from the commotion of the Twin Cities, is this beautiful park and hidden gemstone of a waterfall.

    2. Target Field

    Come catch a great game of ball at the open stadium where the Twins play!

    3. Gooseberry Falls State Park

    Hidden away in northern Minnesota is this gem of a state park.

    4. Split Rock Lighthouse

    This beautiful lighthouse on the shores of Lake Superior is unlike anything else in Minnesota.

    5. Lake Mille Lacs

    Luckily, with more than 10,000 Lakes to choose from, finding a lake that works for you or is close to you should not be hard!

    6. Minnesota Sculpture Garden

    Just another gem that Minneapolis has to offer, the Sculpture Garden has works of art to walk around and enjoy. Perfect for a date night get a way!

    7. The Temperance River

    Leading into Lake Superior, this gorgeous river encompasses all the beauties of Northern Minnesota in a small area.

    This beauty of the Great Lakes is beautiful from whatever state you choose to view it from!

    9. Peace Coffee House

    When you need to take a rainy morning off to read a book or catch up with a friend over a latte, Peace Coffee in Minneapolis is the perfect place to do it!

    10. The Tendermaid

    This adorable little diner in Austin, MN is the perfect place to grab a hamburger and a shake to just enjoy summer.

    11. Lake Pepin

    Nestled in the bluffs of Minnesota is Lake Pepin. This beautiful lake is gorgeous all year round with tons of places to camp, lay on the beach, fish, and enjoy the day.

Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.
