Have dinner with one of your other single friends

If you don't have any single friends, get take out from your favorite restaurant. You deserve a Valentine's meal too.


Bake bake bake

What is your favorite homemade dessert? Pick up the ingredients, bake it, and find a way to make it pink to celebrate Valentine's Day.


Buy yourself flowers

Everyone deserves to smell the roses on Valentine's Day. Make it happen.


Drink something pink

Whether it's rosé, pink moscato, or hibiscus tea, drink something pink! Pink makes everything better.



Dress up and feel pretty

No better way to cheer yourself up (that's if you're not already cheerful) than to make yourself feel pretty. So wear your favorite outfit, do your makeup, focus on your skincare, whatever you have to do to make yourself feel pretty!

Buy some cute Valentine's Day cards for your friends and family and either give them or send them!


Watch a romantic movie (To All the Boys I've Loved Before 2)

For some people this may make them sad, but it could be fun! Invite some friends over (or don't) and put on a great chick flick. Some of my favorites are Valentine's Day, Love Actually, and To All the Boys I've Loved Before. (To All the Boys I've Loved Before 2 comes out just before Valentine's Day this year!)


Valentine's Day can be anything you make it, enjoy!

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
