For all of you fellow travelers spending the week of Thanksgiving going through airport security on your way to see your family here are a few things you can be grateful for in the airport.
1. Being able to get a break from school and knowing you are on your way to see family and friends.
2. Free wi-fi in airports that offer it (shoutout to you, CMH).
3. Being able to check bags so you don't need to lug three suitcases through the terminal.
4. Getting an aisle seat on your flight.
5. Free movies on the plane.
6. Airport wine bars.
7. Being able to pay for your wine and pizza with miles and not actual money.
8. Seeing people running to their gate to barely make their flight and being thankful that for once that person wasn't you.
9. Sitting next to an attractive guy on your flight.
10. Being able to talk to the person sitting next to you.
11. Being able to sleep and be forced to not be on your phone for a few hours.
12. Landing safely.
13. Reuniting with the people you love after you land.
