15 Thoughts You Have While Walking Through Walmart

Ever go into Walmart and just have a million thoughts pop into your head as soon as you step through the door of this huge convenient store? I know I have. Whether it's a sensible hour or midnight on a Tuesday, here's what we all think while shopping in Walmart:

1. First off, what does Walmart not sell?

There are so many aisles to go down, and I am sure that Walmart has everything and anything you are looking for. From food to electronics, from sports gear to household products, to furniture, to crafts, to beauty products, you know Walmart has it.

2. What exactly am I here to buy?

"I know I came in here for something specific, but I forgot what."

3. I am only buying what I need and nothing else.

"I came in here for one thing and one thing only!" you say. Then you leave with a shopping cart full of stuff.

4. How people can wear what they wear out in public? And how can they be so weird?

"How can people wear such little clothing out in public? Do you like embarrassing yourself?"

5. You tell yourself to not go to the UA section because you don’t need more UA gear.

"Do not need more U of A clothing." Yeah, keep telling yourself that as you look through the UA section.

6. You tell yourself you are not going to spend over $20.

Everything in your cart is under $5, but do not be surprised when you are still spending over your desired amount.

7. If all the signs say low price, why are they the same price at other stores?

Every single label says it is a low price, but I am pretty sure it's not that much of a lower price compared to the same thing at Target.

8. This store just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

"Pretty sure I just went down this aisle... or was that another aisle?"

9. Would I be able to survive in a Walmart if I had nowhere else to live?

"If I had no place to go, Walmart does have everything I need in order to survive, but could I do it?"

10. I'm going to buy the Walmart brand products, because they are cheaper.

If I can save one dollar or so, why not? College students love cheaper prices!

11. Why do so many people shop here?

Walmart gets as many customers as Disneyland does! Is this the place to shop, or what?

12. Can I just buy everything?

Can I get one of those? And those? And those?

13. Hmm, what don’t I need…

Well, I'm already getting a bunch of stuff I don't need... so, is there anything else I don't need?

14. I think I am ready to check out--wait, I want that.

15. How did I just drop $100 in here? I bought nothing!

"I literally bought, like, 20 items, how did I just spend that much money?"

Oh, the joys of shopping in Walmart! Happy shopping!

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
