TGINAF: Thank God Im Not A Freshman

8
Things that Are Different About Sophomore Year
Patzer College

Going to school this year is completely different than last year. You're another year older, another year wiser, and know exactly what to expect. Unlike last year you:

1. Are Purely Excited

Last year was though only because you didn’t know what to expect. You may have been excited, but you were a tad bit nervous too. This year you most likely know mostly everything about campus, know what to expect from classes, and have found friends you enjoy spending time with.

2. Probably Haven’t Started Packing

Last year you had no idea what you needed, and started buying things months before. This year you probably plan on just throwing everything in the car ten minutes before you go.

3. You probably have less stuff to pack

At the end of the year last year you definitely packed up things and said “wow I didn’t even use this at all”. And this year the pile of stuff you brought now does not include any of those items.

4. You know where everything is on campus

Or mostly everything. Now you don’t have to ask some random person walking by. Or even worse, carry a campus map with you.

5. Have friends

Last year you worried about not making friends. This year you just can't wait to see them again.

6. Are no longer a freshman

Because isn't that the worst thing to be?

People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
