You are one of my best friends and I can't imagine not having you as a roommate.

There are so many things to thank you for, I don't think I act like it enough, sometimes I may even take it for advantage, and I might even be a terrible roommate at times, which I'm sorry for! So since I don't think I thank you enough, here are 12 things I thank you for, and I couldn't do this year without you!

1. Walking my dog

I know you didn’t sign up for a puppy when we started to live together, and I know she’s super easy and sweet. But thank you for walking her when I have classes or get stuck doing something with my sorority and don’t have time to go back to let her out, also for hanging out with her when you're at home.

2. Getting food with me

This may seem small but it's not, whenever I need a late night taco bell run you're always there, same with a late night Walmart run! Whether you are eating or not you're up for the random adventure.

3. Being the person I can tell anything to

I know that whatever I say won't go anywhere but between us. I can tell you anything, and you might be judging me but you'll still support even my worst decisions! Sometimes I just need to get all my ideas out on the table, and have someone listen to them even if they may be crazy!

4. Being my shoulder to cry on

Whether I'm having a bad day or not, I know I can always count on having you there when I need it most. I might be crying miles away and you're only a phone call away! You always have a cure for my bad days.

5. Cleaning

There are definitely times when I don't want to clean, and thank you for cleaning the apartment on those occasions, I swear I'll do my part the next time! This one is huge because I may not say thank you a lot, but I promise that I'm so appreciative of this especially when I don't want to do it!

6. Sharing clothes

This is definitely a major perk of us being close to the same size with shoes, and clothes! If I can't find something to wear I know you'll probably have something in your closet, and vice versa.

7. Keeping me on track with school

Watching you be such a good student is a great role model for me, and makes me more motivated to do my school work, and get it all done!

8. Sometimes playing mom

I'm usually mom in our group of friends, and I just want to thank you for stepping up as that role sometimes for me personally when I need it. Like calling me asking me where I've gone to because I left without saying bye, or checking to make sure I'm still alive at times!

9. Giving the best advice

I may not always listen to it, but I swear you give great advice, and tell me things that I don't want to hear but DEFINITELY need to!

10. Eating ice cream with me

I mean who doesn't love someone that will get fat with you so you don't have to alone.

11. Watching TV

You have your shows and I have mine, but thanks for watching mine with me, and letting me crash your Monday night shows on the couch.

12. For being my best friend

Honestly, I know I may not act like it sometimes but you are one of my best friends and I can't imagine not having you as a roommate. Thank you for being the best friend that I can just bombard at all hours of the night.

I have no idea what I'm going to do without you next year as a roommate and friend when you're off in the world being an adult! You deserve so much better than this, and I can't thank you enough for all that you do! Thank you for being the best roommate anyone can ever have, and I'm going to miss living with you next year!

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
