Ahhh, summer. Summer break gives us a chance to start over
and do all of the activities we couldn’t do during the busy school year. If you
are like me, you talk a big game in early May, saying all the things you are
going to do. Then it’s halfway through July and you haven’t accomplished
anything other than eating the entire contents of the refrigerator and sleeping
in past noon. Here is a list of things you said you would do this summer, but,
well… probably won’t.
1. Go to the beach.
2. Get a job/ internship.
3. Go to the gym.
4. Get that beach body (even if it is a little late in the season).
5. Party every night with your friends from home.
6. Take a summer class.
7. Take an exercise class.
8. Take a road trip.
9. Make a lot of money (and save a lot of money).
10. Have a "summer fling."
11. Get a nice, golden tan.
12. Re-do your bedroom.
13. Visit your friends from school.
14. Read a good book, start to finish.
15. Learn to like healthy food (or maybe not).
16. Do some traveling.
If you do at least five things on this list, you will have a pretty awesome summer break. If you have been laying low and being lazy, get up and start doing everything on your summer list so when it comes time to go back to school, you can look back and appreciate the summer you had with no regrets!
