Being a picky eater can be hard. All hail chicken strips.

1. Regardless of your age, you still eat off the kids menu.

I don't care if I'm 18 now, I still want a kids menu. Plus, I'm saving a lot of money by ordering off of the kids menu. Who's the real winner here?

2. Going to a new restaurant is risky.

What if I can't find anything I like on the menu? What if they don't have chicken strips?!

3. Your parents/friends/significant others always want you to try new things.

Why does my picky eating concern you? Let me enjoy the things I know I like, please.

4. You get your own meal during family dinner because no one wants to hear you complain.

During the holiday season especially, there are normally special foods just for you. Mac and cheese for Thanksgiving dinner? Yes, please.

5. Everyone thinks it's a phase.

It's not a phase, people. It's my life.

6. You eat more macaroni and cheese than you'd care to admit.

Mac & cheese is always safe. It's really hard to go wrong with this one.

7. Your friends and family make fun of your weird eating habits.

Yeah, I know it's kinda weird. I don't even care!

8. That nervous feeling when you eat at someone else's house.

You realllllllllllllly don't want to eat the strange food. But, you don't want to come off as rude. It's truly a dilemma.

9. Pizza is one of your main food groups.

Pizza is always a safe bet. Unless it has a million weird toppings that you have to pick off. And no, picking them off isn't as good. The taste lingers.

10. You're content with the few foods that you eat.

I know what I like. I'll try new foods when I'm good and ready (maybe).

Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.

Grey's Anatomy

Even Shonda Rhimes, winning creator and executive producer of the hit TV shows Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and The Catch agrees that relationships with fictional characters are real. In her book, The Year of Yes she states, "I have spent more time with Meredith and Christina then many of my actual friends...When you watched TV, even spending a full hour with Christina once a week, you were likely spending more time with her then you spent with most people in your life. That relationship was real."

Going to the gym and working out on a daily basis (with breaks once in awhile) has been a great way for me to feel good about myself. It is 100% more than just looking good. Especially after starting college and having the stress and anxiety of tests, assignments, and just figuring out my future, the gym at my school has definitely been a place of relief for me and I have numerous reasons of why everyone should push themselves to get to the gym when they can.
