When you're a picky eater, there is a lot to relate to. It's not easy being a picky eater and sometimes we can't help that we are picky eaters.

Here are four things that all picky eaters can relate to:

1. The stress of going to a restaurant

This can be very stressful for picky eaters. To be honest, if I know I am going to a certain restaurant, I will look up their menu beforehand to make sure there's something I like. It's really embarrassing when you're out with people and you don't know what to chose to eat.

2. People knowing what you're going to order

You only like so many foods, that people know exactly what you are going to order. For example, I loved grilled cheese sandwiches, and whenever we go out anywhere, my grandpa always asks if I am going to order one.

3. People's comments

So many people have commented on what I was eating, "Is that all you want?", "Don't you wan't this...". This is mostly for people who don't know me and don't know that I am a picky eater. This is always a very uncomfortable moment for me because I never know what to say!

4. People making accommodations for you

I don't eat red meat, so when I go to my grandparents for dinner and there is steak or lamb, my grandma always cooks me some chicken.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
