Anyone going through the process of law school applications can relate to being insanely busy with school, LSAT prep, and more. They can also relate to being asked the most obnoxious questions from friends who love to talk about law school as much as you do, the only difference between you two, is that you're the only one applying.
This can be extremely frustrating to students who are staying up all night trying to prepare for the LSAT while staying on top of their current school work. I hope this list helps describe your frustrations...
1. Do you really want to have three more years of school?
UMMMM, YES! Maybe because we look at this as three more years of education and the process of having our dream careers.
2. What was your LSAT score?
Unless we willingly talk about a score openly, asking someone about a test score is not only annoying but, simply bad manners on your part.
3. I love puzzles, I bet I would be really good at the LSAT!
If I wasn't so tired from juggling school work and studying logic games for three hours straight I would have the strength to tell you how wrong you are.
4. I am really good at arguing, I should go to law school too!
I encourage everyone to go to law school if that's what they want but, if you think that's the only quality needed for school, you're so so so so so mistaken.
5. Aren’t you going to be jealous of your friends who have jobs?
I would rather go back to school and end up doing what I truly love than get a job right now that I don’t enjoy.
For everyone out there going through this journey of applications and LSAT's, I promise you'll get there!
