If you're short like me, these are a few things I'm sure you can relate to!

1. Putting your feet on rails in front of you...never

Your legs are always too short to put your feet on the rails in front of you like at the movies, or other events. There is no point in trying.

2. Climbing on the kitchen counter to get stuff on the top shelf

You are basically a monkey when it come to getting anything on the top shelf in the kitchen.

3. Always looking for step stools or chairs to reach things

If nobody is home or available to help, a chair or stool is your best bet to reach anything you need.

4. Having to get your jeans hemmed so they don't go over your feet

Trying on jeans is a nightmare because you really never know how they fit because the pant legs always go past your feet. You always end up settling for the pair that is the shortest and have to find somebody to cut off the remaining two feet of fabric.

5. Having to ask people at the grocery store to get things for you

If the product you need is too high to reach for you, it's almost not worth it to get it.

6. Not having your feet touch the ground when you sit in a chair

Your feet fall asleep...you constantly look for the chairs that have the rungs on them rest your feet on.

7. Not being able to see over a crowd

There's no point in going anywhere that has a crowd if you can't be in the front.

8. Always being in the front for pictures

You always know where to be for pictures and people who know you know where to look for you in the pictures.

9. People always think you are way younger than you really are

I get mistaken for a 13 year old all the time...I'm almost 20. I guess it's a good thing??!!

10. Going to a high school/middle school event and being mistaken as a student....

I can't tell you how many times I have gone to take my brother lunch or something and teachers mistake me for a student. I try to tell them that I am a college student and they don't believe me.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
