Things only Sassy Girls will Understand

Whoever said being sassy is a bad has probably never experienced the wrath of its demands. Being sassy is a full-time job. But a worthwhile job at that, one that you’ll gladly take on. Someone’s gotta tell it like it is and keep everyone else on their toes. Who else can we count on to add a little flair to our lives and keep the laughter afloat? There are some things that only sassy gals can relate to. It’s a small circle of girls around the world who are not afraid to speak their mind and have a good time. So here’s to the sassy ones everywhere—keep doing you my fellow friends:

1. First off, being sassy is not a choice.

2. We were born with it.

3. And when the sass gets started there’s no way to stop it.

4. Being sassy is basically a full-time job.

5.They’re impossible to read because every emotion is disguised as sass. So please stop asking if something’s wrong.

6.We don’t just do it for kicks, the sass has a purpose. We just call it out like it is.

7.We don’t have a filter. We save the filters for Instagram.

8.You can’t sass a sasser. So don’t even try.

9.Our sarcasm should never be taken seriously.

10.Calling us sassy is actually a really nice compliment. So thanks.

11.We have thick skin and even thicker confidence. Really thick, so don’t mess with us.

12.We make the best of friends because we only speak the truth.

13. Lol, what are feelings?

14. We will NEVER stop doing their good work because they’re never sassified.

So here’s to the fellow sass masters out there. Keep doing you and don’t let anyone bring you down. But always remember, stay classy, not trashy :)

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
