My grandma is probably one of the coolest people I know. Here’s why:

  • She’s Indian.
  • She’s third in the British Empire (too long of a story to explain).
  • She’s got a fake hip.
  • She doesn’t have a stomach (literally).
  • She used to own a chicken named TB Patient and possibly an elephant named Binky.
  • She said no to seven arranged marriages before settling on my grandpa.
  • She’s 87 and cooler than me.

PBut one of my favorite things about my grandma is her charming personality. How charming is she? I’ll let these 13 tweets speak for themselves.

Seriously, as sassy and silly as she is, my grandma has a beautiful heart and I love her dearly. My future grandkids will be #blessed if I turn out to be like her. Love you now and always, Grandma-ma!

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
